Sea Glass Safari
Monday 29 May, 11 – 3.30pm
Start at Easington Colliery Coastal Path Car Park, SR8 3QH
Tickets: Free

Join artist Stuart Langley on a sea glass safari at Easington Beach followed by an art workshop to create your own illuminated sea glass keepsakes.

Meeting at 11 am at Easington Coastal Path car park, where you will then walk to Easington Beach together. Please make sure you wear suitable footwear and clothing as access to the beach is via a series of very steep steps. Please bring a packed lunch as the session will continue throughout the afternoon.

The session should end approximately 3.30pm.  The safari is open to all ages, however, all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Artist Stuart Langley works with sea glass, neon, colour and waste to create artworks which reimagine the ordinary. Check out Stuart’s previous work here.

This event is part of Reach for the Beach Festival 2017 organised by Durham Heritage Coast. See full programme of events here.
