Vintage Afternoon Tea Party
Tuesday 14 February, 4 – 7pm
Blackhall Community Centre, TS27 4LG
Tickets: £2
An event celebrating all things vintage at Blackhall Community Centre. Get together with your loved ones, family and friends at this beautiful vintage themed community event.

Activities include:

4pm – 7pm
Make special vintage-style gifts for your loved ones with Creative Youth Opportunities.
Vote for your favourite film that will be screened at Blackhall Community Centre at a later date.
Blackhall History Group will be bringing along photographs of East Durham from years gone by.
Pose for a snapshot in front of stylish ‘Sally’ the unique vintage car until 6pm.

4.15pm and 5pm
Performances from singer Eileen Glenton.

From 5.30pm
Take a trip down Memory Lane with Cinegi Arts&Film and the British Film Institute. Highlights include Turnout of the Newcastle Fire Brigade (1901), a clip from Sunderland Vs. Middlesborough football match in 1904, Lakeland Poets (1938), Listen to Britain (1942), Mining Review 25th Year No. 9 (1972).

6.30pm
Live music from Blackhall Youth Brass Band.

Afternoon tea included in the ticket price. Food will be served from 4.45pm.
