Creative Social – Dance Through the Ages, Shotton Community Centre

Saturday 12th December 11am – 3pm

Join us for dancing, fun and food – and it’s all completely free! There’ll be dance exhibitions and plenty of opportunities to join in and dance. From country to congo, charleston to chicken, ballroom to boogie and house to party, there’s something for everyone! So come along, enjoy free snacks, wine and cheese, and throw some shapes, or just sit back and watch. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how much dance experience you have – all welcome!

 

Blackhall Community Christmas

Come along and make yourself a lantern with artists from Jack Drum Arts to welcome the parade to town later in the day.

4.30pm Winter Wonderland Parade

A glowing jingling Winter Wonderland Parade full of surprises with artists and musicians from Jack Drum Arts. Join us with your lanterns and dress up for the parade.

 

The Winter Wonderland Parade will start at St Joseph Primary School and parade down the rear of Middle Street past Chapman’s the butchers. Round the corner at the Library onto Hesleden Road briefly and then around The Crescent finishing at the Community Centre.

 

5pm – 6pm Blackhall Community Centre

Finale – Sing-a-long a Christmas with live music to round off a fabulous day featuring

Ladies of Midnight Blue, Blackhall Youth Band and some surprise guests …
