Audience Development and Communications Manager, East Durham Creates

£27,620 (pro rata), 0.5FTE

 

Fixed term contract until July 2020 working on an Arts Council England Creative People and Places funded programme in East Durham

Are you passionate about engaging people from all backgrounds in high quality arts experiences that surprise, delight and inspire?

As East Durham Creates enters its second phase of funding through to 2020, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to play a pivotal role within the project team. You will be responsible for leading, managing and coordinating the full range of our audience development, marketing, communications and PR activity.

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record of devising and implementing communications and audience development strategies for arts projects, festivals and events. With exceptional interpersonal skills, you will have an ability to communicate effectively and develop trusted relationships with diverse audiences, participants, artists and partners. You will also relish managing multiple priorities and working in fast-paced environment, as part of small, hard-working team.

Creative Producer, East Durham Creates

£31,750 (pro rata), 0.6FTE

Are you a producer looking for a fresh challenge? Passionate about engaging people from all backgrounds in high quality arts experiences that surprise, delight and inspire?

If so, you could be just who we’re looking for!

As East Durham Creates enters its second phase of funding through to 2020, we are seeking a dynamic, resourceful and talented individual to play a key role in the project team. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our 2017 – 2020 Creative Programme – developing and managing ground-breaking engaging arts projects, providing specialist support to artists, groups and organisations, and working collaboratively with the local community.

The role of Creative Producer is a diverse and challenging one, with no two days the same. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record of organising and producing arts projects, festivals and events, and of involving people from all backgrounds in arts activity, perhaps for the very first time. You’ll have experience of working with artists, developing new partnerships and supporting local people to take the lead. Your ‘can do’ approach will mean that you can get the job done well and on time under pressure. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, and will have excellent time management skills.
