Street Gallery puts artwork in windows…

In the summer of 2020, houses in Dawdon showed work in their windows by artists from County Durham, the UK, and worldwide to brighten up our streets!
A project run by artist Eleanor Matthews and funded through our Let’s Create Covid-19 response fund, this was a fantastic way to cheer up neighbour’s daily walks!  These amazing vox pop portraits by photographer Paul Cochrane told the individual stories of the people and artists who transformed streets in Dawdon Seaham into an art gallery during the pandemic.
